I'm Gin, a creative designer and entrepreneur based in Metro Manila, Philippines.

A little about me: I’m a proud mom of four kids spanning a range of ages. I value sharing my experiences of motherhood and raising kids, hoping they resonate with others on similar journeys.

Vignette of vintage pieces 🧡

The desk: this desk was custom-made, designed by my mom when we were kids. There were 2 of these as my sister and I shared a room and back then it was painted white to match the antique beds that we inherited from our great-grandmother’s home.

Years later, I took one of them because I was about to have a baby girl and I needed a desk for her room. After moving out of our home, I decided to keep this desk because of it’s perfect size and versatile design which Im now using in this airbnb unit.

The Windsor chair: Classic & timeless and just as versatile. Not to mention comfortable. A piece passed on from one household to another within our family, from the US to the PH. I believe it was part of a set but only one exists with me today.

It’s paint finish was white and dirty when I first saw it, it wasn’t the original partner of the table. I painted it pink for my daughter’s room to match it with the desk (above).

At present it is this vibrant orange which I love. An accent piece in itself. 🧡 Who knows what color it will be next or whether it’s natural wood color will finally make a comeback. For now, this is where it belongs.
